I am a Slovenian wildlife photographer drawn to the patience, uncertainty and quiet intensity of the natural world.
My story
I am based in Slovenia. Wooded hills, meadows and water close to home taught me to notice small changes. Returning to the same places turns individual encounters into longer stories.
That same curiosity has taken me from the forests of Finland to the sea ice of Svalbard. Whether I am working from a hide, standing in cold water or watching an animal cross a vast landscape, I look for images that preserve both the subject and its atmosphere.

In the field
Wildlife photography asks for more than proximity. It asks for knowledge of behaviour, respect for distance and the willingness to return without a photograph. The animal and the place should remain unchanged after I leave.
Field ethic
Behaviour and distance are read before the camera is raised.
The place and subject should remain unchanged after the encounter.
Quiet context matters alongside dramatic moments.
Where the work lives
Three very different landscapes shape my work, from the scale of the High Arctic to the forests and water close to home. Each asks for a different pace. The intention remains the same: to let wild lives stay wild.
